Four OTA artists were at First Presbyterian Church in South Saint Paul to meet parishioners and have a conversation about their artwork on December 14th.

This meet and greet was associated with the OT Artists Exhibit, Heart and Hearth that is now showing at the church through the end of December.  Seven OT Artists are participating in this show with a focus on thoughts of home and warmth during this wintery Christmas season.

A group of parishioners sat down with the four artists and were asked questions about how they work together as a group.  This brought us the history of this co-operative that dates back to 1958.  A founding principle was to create a group that supports each members artistic development and this spirit continues even as the membership has changed through the years.

Questions included why we paint, how a co-op studio works, and where members get their inspirations.  A lively discussion followed!

Old Town Artists appreciate the support from Rochelle and her team to mount the show.   Is it a wonderful opportunity to show artwork in a beautiful church and gathering space.
