Flower Garden

 A group of my paintings is included in the "Heart and Hearth" exhibit at First Presbyterian Church in South Saint Paul.  Most of these are images of flowers.  This might not seem particularly on point with the theme of this show...but for me having cut or potted flowers in the house reminds me of home more than anything else.

Potted Cyclamen

My mother was the gardener and flowers were her dominate "crop."  My father was an enabler, turning earth for her or setting up flower boxes.  Somehow I didn't catch the gardening bug, but my love of flowers and floral displays is strong - and a reminder of my upbringing!
