The Signature Wall of "Our Favorite Colors"

"Our Favorite Colors" is now live at The Art Loft at Boreal, a gift and goods shop in Saint Paul.

Participating OT Artists welcomed friends and visitors to our opening reception last night.  

The theme of "Our Favorite Colors" came to life as each artist exhibited paintings showcasing one of their favorite colors.  The signature wall of the exhibit includes one painting from each of the eight participating artists.   The rest of the gallery space is divided into sections, each containing multiple words by an individual artist.

The mood? Festive and lively.   

Snacks and beverages provided sustenance to visitors and friends as they engaged in lively conversation with the artists and each other.

Studio mascot Claw-ed Monet arrived, circulating effortlessly among the crowd, helping himself to the refreshments, joining conversations to make witty remarks, and soaking up the art on display.  

OT Artists Katharine Gotham and Tom McGregor discussed the intricacies of painting en plein air, while Claw-ed offered a few intriguing pointers of his own.  

OT Artist friend John and OT Artist Christine discussed the various challenges facing artists as Claw-ed waited for an opportunity to interrupt.  

 

Pat Cleary and Jerry Jo politely listened to Claw-ed expound on the benefits of a liver- and tuna-based diet.  

The exhibit is open until Saturday, September 27th.
